Direct Mail Services
What are Direct Mail Services?
Creating Local Buzz®, LLC provides direct mailing services for postcards, flyers, brochures as well as sales sheets.
"Direct Mail" is a form of marketing that involves sending a physical piece of promotional material through the U.S. Postal Service to a home or business.
"Direct Mailing" services are designed for businesses or individuals that want to pinpoint specific addresses, or blanket an entire neighborhood. You tell us who to mail to, we can build a list for you, or we can mail to an entire neighborhood and we'll do the rest.
"Solo Mailing" services are one business or individual on a mailer with a common or solo message on one or both sides of the mailer. These mailers are designed for businesses or individuals that want to pinpoint specific addresses, so you can ask to mail to only households that are 40-65 years old, homeowners, make 55K or more, and live in a home at least 10 years old or we can also mail to an entire neighborhood using a solo EDDM mailer.
"EDDM Mailing" services are designed for businesses or individuals that want to pinpoint specific addresses, or blanket an entire neighborhood or city. With Every Door Direct Mail by the USPS, you target areas by carrier routes. You can pick one carrier route as small as 250 households up to 25,000 households per mailing. You have some limited information about the households, such as income, household size, as well as age. These mailers are great for getting everyone around your location or a specific area of town your message.
"Co-Op Mailing" services are designed for businesses or individuals that want to piggyback on a larger mailer that would otherwise cost more than an individual marketer would like to spend. We have used co-op marketing to get an 8.5"x11" co-op mailer with 8-24 businesses on the same card for cheaper than the price of mailing a 5.5"x8.5" solo mailer. These work very well for businesses and individuals that want to reach more targets cost-effectively. If you have a related service and want to get maximum exposure for your mailer, a co-op mailer is the way to go.
What is Solo Mailing?
Solo mailing is when one business or individual sends out a mailer with their solo message on one or both sides. Solo mailers can be sent via EDDM (entire neighborhood) or via a direct mail list that you have or one that we can create for your specific needs.
We can create mailing lists to get very specific details you want to target and limit the number of mailers that you have to send out while increasing your response rates.
Solo mailers are perfect for getting your message in mailboxes and building your brand's image and reach.
What is EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail)?
EDDM stands for "Every Door Direct Mail." Designed to help businesses deploy promotions and advertisements to a targeted area, this U.S. Postal Service program allows the customer to have their mailer hand-delivered to every mailbox along chosen carrier routes. EDDM is a cost-effective alternative to traditional direct mail that allows you to saturate the market and promote to every household or business in the desired geography.
EDDM allows you to target as small as one carrier route of at least 250 up to as many as 25K households on multiple carrier routes. We offer two types of EEDM mailing packages.
- We offer a do-it-yourself EDDM package that we will print the mailers for you in the correct format and then send them to you, where you will have to sort, package, complete the necessary forms, and then deliver them to your local post offices and pay the postage fees. Or
- Full-service EDDM packages. This is our most common EDDM package chosen as we can do all of the work for you and deliver them to your local post offices so your EDDM campaigns are ready to go. Our full-service EDDM package includes design, print, sorting, delivery to your local post office, postage, and full tracking.
What is Co-Op Mailing?
Co-Op mailing is when one or more customers or businesses decide to join together and send out a larger mailer at a cheaper price. We have been able to do co-op mailings for 9"x12" & 8.5"x11" community cards where they are sent via EDDM or via direct mail lists for pennies where if one business mailed that size of the mailer would have been thousands of dollars.
It is best to have a group of businesses that are in the same area or non-competing businesses join and sent out their mailer.
